What the following script does is not considered actual encoding, but it's easier to say it that way. The encoded output will be a bit longer than the original text, but a lot less than if you had simply escaped it all.

The section below actually shifts the Unicode values so the result looks like gibberish. Give it a try and you'll see; don't forget to try different Code Key values from the drop-down box.
